Hi! I'm Elaine Bohnert. I teach Principles of Health Science, Health Science Theory/Clinical Rotations and Medical Terminology at Comfort High School and am also the HOSA-Future Health Professionals advisor. This is my 10th year teaching in Comfort ISD (I previously taught Health Science and Anatomy & Physiology for 5 years at Boerne High School). Before teaching, I spent several years as a clinical dietitian in San Antonio.
I have a bachelors degree in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science from Southwest Texas State University and a masters degree in Nutrition from the University of the Incarnate Word. I am a registered dietitian.
I live in Comfort ISD with my husband and three children. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, raising pigs and riding horses.
